The Tom Brock Bequest Committee, an Australian Society for Sports History sub-group established to promote the scholarly study of rugby league, is convening a conference to recognise the cultural, historical and social significance of rugby league in Australia from 1908 to 2008.

The program includes two full days of speakers, covering a wide foray across 100 years of rugby league in Australia.

Attendance is limited to 100 places, so you are advised to register early to avoid disappointment.

The 10th Annual Tom Brock Lecture will be held on Thursday, 6 November at The Bowlers Club. Renowned commentator and author Lex Marinos will deliver a lecture titled "From a Federation Game to League of Nations."
